Compacting concrete
During the pouring of concrete, air is incorporated into the grout. In order to achieve the correct concrete strength, the air can be removed by vibrating the concrete including the mold.
Testing
Products before they enter the market are tested for their functionality. Vibration motors are used for example to test for simulating vibrations out of the practice or to test components for fatigue.
Sorting and separating
Vibrations may be used to separate products on the basis of the difference in frictional resistance and / or weight of the products.
Mixing and blending
Vibration may also be used to mix or blend goods. Usually this requires a large amplitude and a non-directional vibration.
Loosen
Loosening is a broad concept. In this case it means release of: product impoundments in transport gutters, pipes, bunkers or similar; bulk at for example emptying big bags; (wall) attachments.
Transporting and dispensing
Vibrations are used to move materials or goods through conveyors and gutter. By controlling the vibration of the transport this application can also be used for dispensing the goods.
